Leather in the colors of white, black, and yellow makes up the upper of the Jordan 1 Volt Gold. An ankle-wrapping Volt yellow panel with the Jordan Wings emblem is attached. The Volt Gold has single stitch reinforcement on its overlays instead of double stitch reinforcement, which is used in OG Jordan 1 designs. This results in dimensionality with exposed edges. The reconstructed design approach used by Jordan is highlighted by a nylon tongue with exposed foam edges and a reverse transparent tongue label. An aged impression is provided by the black outsole and yellowed midsole.
